At Ridge Farm, where I live with my Dad, there is a swimming pool. As a result we have had a pool party every year.
This year we held a swimming and football party and,for the first time, Mum came as well. My friends and I went a bit crazy with balloons filled with water. We had swimming races and then we ate. Afterwards we played 4-a-side football. Mum and Dad were referees. We changed ends four times!
Then we had cake and sang “Happy Birthday” and my friends went home.
Afterwards I opened my presents and Dad and I gave Mum a tour of the farm.
Then we took Mum to the station and she went home.
